This series of guerilla body weaves at Art Basel Miami weaves again found me physically attaching myself to various parts of the monolithic Art Fair. At one point I was woven to the front of the Miami Convention Center with four skeins of yarn. Admonished by Art Basel security, I unraveled myself slowly over a period of two hours. I never brought a pair of scissors to any of the Miami weaves, using my bare hands to unchain myself from the structures of the Art Fair. I spent the better part of three days in the "Art Positions" area--the designated Performance Art area, at one point even performing on the stage area. Security, gallery owners and PS1 radio simply assumed I was part of the act. the story was different in each of the individual, independent art fairs however. I shot all my own images and footage. These are a few links to some videos and images.
